Intrepid Report will resume publishing on December 29.
My sincere thanks to all our readers whose donations helped close our budget gap, thusly assuring we will continue to publish in 2015 to bring you news and information ignored by the corporate media that continues to be consolidated in fewer and fewer hands.
To say it’s been another tumultuous year would be an understatement and next year, with the Republicans in control of both houses of Congress and Democrats dancing to the tune of their rich benefactors, brace yourselves for even worse. That makes independent news outlets, beholden to no one—neither corporations nor foundations—even more important if we the people are to ever end the criminality and injustices being done in our name.
Now, for the sake of our sanity, let us find some joy in our families and friends, whatever we celebrate at this time of year: Chanukah, Winter Solstice, Christmas, Festivus or Kwanzaa.
We hear a lot of empty words at this time of year about peace and goodwill; however, if we unite in our humanity, instead of allowing ourselves to be divided by those who glory in neither, we can achieve both.
And last but not least, a big thank you to our writers for all their hard work. As usual, writers may, in the interim, submit articles that aren’t time sensitive.
