Blacks, cops and a sinking economy

In Ethnic America, Thomas Sowell observes, “American pluralism was not an ideal with which people started but an accommodation to which they were eventually driven by the destructive toll of mutual intolerance in a country too large and diverse for effective dominance by any one segment of the population. The rich economic opportunities of the country also provided alternative outlets for energies, made fighting over the division of existing material things less important than the expansion of output for all, and rewarded cooperative efforts so well as to make it profitable to overlook many differences.”

Racial, ethnic and religious differences can be overlooked as long as there are rich economic opportunities, but absent this expansion of output for all, pluralism collapses and explodes into mutual resentment, finger pointing and violence, and we’re only at the beginning of this hell.

Those on the lowest rungs have a near monopoly on street crimes (as opposed to boardroom heists). Perennially at the economic bottom, blacks crowd American prisons. The right attribute this to the natural outcomes of inequality between races. The left blame it on racism.

What can’t be argued is that blacks have been hurt tremendously by the relentless importation of cheap labor for menial work. How ironic, then, that blacks are loyal to a Democratic Party that has robbed them of employment and dignity. Liberal immigration policies harm blacks more than anybody.

In theory, blacks can leave the heavy lifting, garbage and grease behind, attend college then glide into the financial or tech sectors of our “new economy.” They can follow the lead of Marvel’s new Iron Man, a 15-year-old black girl who is a tech genius and graduate of MIT. Outside the superhero universe, less competitive people of any color or age are lucky to snare a minimum wage job at McDonald’s or Chick-fil-A.

With a 2015–16 enrollment of 11,331, MIT has 524 blacks, or 4.6%, as compared to 14.4% for the general population. Even this low number comes with an asterisk, however, thanks to affirmative action, a racist policy that hurts all non-blacks as well as blacks that don’t need this stigmatic prosthesis.

Ron Unz points out, “The more conspiratorially-minded racialists, bitterly hostile to immigration, sometimes speculate that there is a diabolical plot by our ruling power structure to ‘race-replace’ America’s traditional white population. Perhaps a hidden motive along these lines does indeed help explain some support for heavy immigration, but I suspect that the race being targeted for replacement is not the white one.”

By July 4, there had been more than 2,000 shootings this year in Chicago. Though only a third of its population, blacks commit more than 70% of the city’s murders, and this huge discrepancy is repeated across the country.

Teaching a political writing class in Leipzig, I showed my German students the Philadelphia Police Department’s YouTube channel. Video after video had black men committing crimes. Though I hadn’t picked the day or sequence, I pretty much knew what we would see.

In Bensalem, a Philly suburb, I paused at an electronic billboard to stare at one black crime suspect after another.

At Jones Corner Bar, a black dive in Steelton, PA, the news came on to show a murderer’s face. “It’s a brother!” someone shouted. Way too often, it is.

A month earlier, there had been an armed robbery at Jones, and three months before, someone had been shot just outside.

I’ve wandered through dozens of unfamiliar European and Asian cities late at night without fear of physical harm. In the US, this would not be too wise, mostly because of black crimes. Though all Americans recognize this menace, it’s not supposed to be aired, and even the term “black crimes” is taboo in polite company.

Feeling increasingly superfluous, blacks have been lashing out and popping everybody, including cops. Cops shoot blacks and other races, sometimes preemptively. If we were still a sane country, each shooting would be examined singly, but the left only see police abuse. As for the right, blacks are just getting their deserts.

Micah Johnson, the alleged sniper in Dallas, was blown to bits by a robot-delivered police bomb. Was there no other way to neutralize the suspect? Increasingly, our law enforcement resorts to summary execution.

In this left/right, black/white society, few can admit that America has a problem with police brutality and black crimes, and that unchecked immigration exacerbates both.

What hurts us benefits our rulers, however, for they get low wages, disunity among an increasingly pissed off populace and support for even more surveillance and iron-fisted policing. It won’t be their blood that will be spilled this summer and beyond.

On May 18, 2015, Obama came to Camden, New Jersey, a majority black city with one of the nation’s highest crime rates. A huge crowd lined the route of the president’s motorcade, and the mood was quite festive, with dancing and drumming. Flags were waved. The cops who provided security that day had to endure a hail of verbal abuse, however.

One young white cop was given so much crap, a young black woman behind me said to her friend, “Why are they all in his face like that? That is so rude!”

Draped in an indigo thobe, a black man with a bullhorn followed a black cop around to harangue him nonstop.

An older black woman yelled at another black cop, “Why are you on that side? With them?! When the shit hits the fan, you’re going to be on this side with us!”

Since 1981, Camden has had five black mayors and one Hispanic one. Even in a black-ruled city, many blacks see cops as the enemy.

After the Dallas murder of five policemen, a line of cops stood outside a closed 7-Eleven, with protesters milling near them. Some could be seen to laugh, dance, shout or point fingers at the police. When the TV announcer asked the on-site reporter what was going on, she explained that people had been stranded because of suspended bus services. When a bus came and went, and most protesters stayed put, it’s fair to assume that some of them enjoyed taunting and gloating too much to leave this victory party.

The war continues.

  1. “In this left/right, black/white society, few can admit that America has a problem with police brutality and black crimes, and that unchecked immigration exacerbates both.”

An electronic “Right On!” to your on-point comments Linh Dinh. It ain’t just the police/white supremacy/racism/insert-your-favorite-scarecrow-here that is the problem in black communities. Until the black masses and their misleadership flunkies admit this fact, much less confront and try to tackle the problem, nothing with change for the better. The masses will have to wake up to the reality and save themselves – Obomber, Oprah, Jesse, Al, Farrakhan, the govt, etc aren’t going to do shit for them. It’s comical to observe so many blacks being incensed about Trump’s rants about illegal immigrants and Muslim immigration when these two groups 1) aren’t all that keen on black folks anyway and 2) are competition for blacks in the dwindling labor market.

Call me a conspiracy nut, but the Dallas shootings along with shooting in Minnesota have a slight stench of false flagness. The current spate of attacks are over the top WTF: guy in Louisiana shot while lying face down. Man in Minnesota shot in his car. The getting shot while face down on the ground is not uncommon but it is suspicious that the second incident occurred within days of the first. Next thing you know police are killed at a BLM event (group leaders co-opted by Dems and street revolution guru Soros). As with the Muslim assailants used in past false flag events, the black ex-Army shooter has a Facebook page filled with incriminating photos and rantings. Every few days, we get more tidbits about the shooter – wrote message in blood on wall, was planning a bomb plot, etc. Anyone want to bet that the next news will be he was under FBI watch?

Who benefits from these killings? As with Orlando, Dame Killary has ANOTHER distraction issue. In addition to gays and gun control she can focus on racism and the police. Trump haters will tie him to the issue. The powers that be want to insure a Killary victory which is not 100% certain. A large black turnout is crucial. The one thing that will get the black sheeple en masse to the polls is police brutality. Sidenote: it appears black lives matter when life is ended by a cop but black folks don’t take to the streets when black criminals kill black people – but that’s another email. Loretta Lynch can now do the usual DOJ perfunctory investigation on police misconduct instead of getting flack for her cozy tarmac chat with Bill Clinton. The decision not to indict Killary is removed from the front pages. The media only reports when police killed unarmed blacks or Latinos; an unarmed white guy was recently killed by police. In the last few years, whites have been victims of police aggression but that doesn’t make headline news – because the empire needs to maintain police brutality is only a racial issue. A race war keeps people fighting among themselves rather than focusing on the empire’s march to fascism. The timing of these happenings sure do benefit more than a few political criminals. The black blogosphere will electronically lynch me for these comments (and lamblast Linh Dinh too probably for his) but let’s not forget: during the 60s civil unrest, the govt used agent provocatuers to sabotage and discredit the civil rights movement and the Black Panthers.

Call me a conspiracy loon but the timing of these incidents benefit quite a few empire criminals.

  2. Hi Beverly,

Alton Sterling, the man shot in Baton Rouge, was shot while lying on his back. He was resisting arrest and had a gun in his right pocket.

Watch carefully the two available videos. Sterling’s right hand cannot be seen.

Though a cop was sitting on top of Sterling, this huge man was still resisting quite violently. If his right hand had reached his right pant pocket, where his gun was, both cops would have been in great danger.

One cop screamed, “He has a gun! He has a gun!” The second cop shot Sterling in the chest (not the back).

The cops came in the first place because someone called 911 to report, correctly, that a man had a gun.

Sterling had a long rap sheet, including convictionS for having sex with a 14-year-old when he was 20, for home invasion and armed robbery, for strangling his girlfriend and, in 2009, for resisting arrest. As a felon, he wasn’t allowed to have a gun on him. Though Sterling’s criminal background does not justify him being shot, it reveals that he’s a habitual law breaker. Cops in the area knew about him.

Soon as Sterling was dead, a cop yanked Sterling’s gun from his right pant pocket, so we must conclude that this cop knew, by touching it perhaps, that there was a gun there before Sterling was shot.

Remember that the cops only had seconds to react and they arrived knowing Sterling was armed.

As for Castle, he was pulled over because a Hispanic cop thought he was an armed robbery suspect. A thin black man with dread locks had just robbed a convenience store in that small town the day before.

He wasn’t pulled over because of the broken tail light, like his girlfriend said in the video.

He did have a gun in the car. It’s not clear if it was out.

The cop was justifiably nervous, so he shot when Castle supposedly didn’t obey his orders.

It’s irrelevant if Castle had a concealed weapon permit. What’s crucial is, Did he obey the cop’s command to show his hands? Assuming that Castle was an armed robbery suspect, the cop was understandably nervous.

There was marijuana in the car, apparently, so Castle may have been high, which may have impaired his reaction.

All these details, you see, have to be sorted out, but too many people just want to scream racism at the first opportunity.

One can be honest, or one can simply go along with one’s tribe, be it one’s race of political affiliation.

Many people call themselves “independent thinker,” but almost none of them are.

Years ago, when I was almost mugged by a black guy, police cars pulled up and the cops had us against the wall and frisked us both. No dummies, neither of us resisted. Whatever you do, you do not want to give cops any reason to panic.

It’s standard procedure for the cops to frisk us both, since they could not afford to pause to figure out who was criminal and who was victim. Often, cops only have seconds to act.

It’s too easy for us to study YouTube videos and deliberate about how we would act. In a real life situation with an armed suspect, you must act quickly or you might be dead.

None of this means we don’t have a huge problem with police brutality. Cops are militarized and shooting too many citizens. As of July, cops have killed 238 whites, 123 blacks, 79 Hispanics and 69 of unknown or other races. A ridiculous number of dogs are also killed by cops daily.

Twenty-eight cops have been shot to death this year. We have become an insanely violent society.

As for the Dallas shooting, there’s only one video in which the suspect is seen, and the strange sparks for the fired projectiles are causing the more perceptive people to scratch their heads. Bullets hitting concrete, cement or brick don’t make sparks like that. Zirconium spark balls do.
