Facebook an anti-social media censoring machine

On Tuesday, Caracas, Venezuela-based Latin American broadcaster Telesur reported the following: “Telesur’s English’s page has been removed from Facebook for the second time this year without any specific reason being provided.”

“[T]he first time this occurred back in January 2018, Facebook did NOT provide any explanation in spite of our best efforts to understand their rationale.”

“This is an alarming development in light of the recent shutting down of pages that don’t fit a mainstream narrative.”

Facebook unjustifiably claimed “Telesur English [was] removed for violating our Terms of Use,” adding, “ . . . Pages that are hateful, threatening or obscene are not allowed. We also take down Pages that attack an individual or group, or that are set up by an unauthorized individual.”

“If your Page was removed for any of the above reasons, it will not be reinstated. Continued misuse of Facebook’s features could result in the permanent loss of your account.”

In response to Facebook’s unacceptable censorship, I said the following on my FB page:

Facebook’s war on truth-telling takes down Telesur page for featuring journalism the way it’s supposed to be—what its censors oppose, agents of dark forces running the US.

Anti-social media Facebook is a censoring machine, flagrantly violating First Amendment rights, unaccountable for its criminality.

They took down my FB page before, likely intend doing it again, maybe this time permanently, wanting me and other independent journalists silenced.

They deleted a number of my articles and comments earlier, the latest one likely to be erased, the way police states operate, wanting the message controlled, views contrary to the official narrative consigned to the memory hole, eliminating inconvenient truths.

“He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past,” Orwell explained.

He who controls the message controls groupthink, suppressing dissent, manipulating the public mind to reach consensus with the official narrative, wanting an obedient submissive public—distracted by bread and circuses.

Social and other major media scoundrels operate as a collective Ministry of Truth. Controlling the message is the defining feature of totalitarian rule.

Constitutional rights don’t matter—consigned to the dustbin of history. Big Brother is real, no longer fiction, monitoring our views, wanting what conflicts with the official narrative suppressed—“reality control,” according to Orwell.

Separately, he said, “Unpopular ideas can be silenced, and inconvenient facts kept dark, without the need for any official ban.”

“Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with surprising effectiveness.”

“A genuinely unfashionable opinion is almost never given a fair hearing, either in the popular press or in the highbrow periodicals.”

Orwell remarked before the age of television and the Internet—where most people get information and communicate through social media, why dark forces in America and elsewhere want control over these sources.

According to FB censors, hateful, threatening, obscene and unauthorized material is whatever conflicts with the official narrative.

The real threat is social and other major media voluntarily colluding with dark forces in America and elsewhere against truth-telling on vital issues.

Google, Twitter, YouTube and other major social media operate the same way as Facebook.

FB allied with the Atlantic Council (AC)—a neocon infested enemy of world peace and stability think tank, promoting NATO’s killing machine, America’s military, industrial, security, major media complex, and Ziofascist Israel.

FB partnered with AC’s imperial geopolitical agenda to censor material falsely called “foreign interference”—AC helping in so-called “fact-checking,” wanting truth-telling on vital issues suppressed.

AC’s so-called Digital Forensic Research Lab is an initiative for countering vital truths.

It’s involved in FB actions against targeted websites and other so-called “suspicious pages”—unjustifiably considered foreign interference.

AC/FB fact-checking is code language for blatant censorship—the new normal in America and other Western nations, fantasy democracies, threatening speech, media and academic freedoms.

FB’s founding statement said its “mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.”

“People use Facebook to stay connected with friends and family, to discover what’s going on in the world, and to share and express what matters to them”—implying the right to express views freely on anything.

FB’s actions defy its stated mission—opposing free expression, not supporting it, censoring what it wants suppressed.

FB reportedly told Australian media officials that if they didn’t cooperate with the social media giant their businesses would die “like in a hospice”—the threat corroborated by individuals at the meeting.

FB’s threat is likely playing out worldwide—part of a war to control the public mind.

Major social and conventional media are forces for evil, not good.

Speech, media and academic freedoms are too precious to lose. Threats against them should terrify everyone.
