Thanks to the support of readers, I am halfway there to raising the $2,000 needed to pay for the new computer and software upgrades that work with Windows 10. If Intrepid Report is important to you, please help me raise the balance and consider making a monthly donation so I can keep publishing.
My main computer died last Friday (January 25) and I have been struggling all week on a borrowed computer to keep Intrepid Report publishing. While a new computer is on the way, my equipment fund is empty. Hence, I turn to you for help.
I need to raise $2,000 to pay for the new computer and crucial software upgrades that work with Windows 10. Please donate whatever you can by going to intrepidreport.com/donate-2.
We independent publishers—especially those of us who don’t take foundation or corporate funding—working to bring you the news and information the corporate media either don’t report or misreport, are under attack from those who want us gone. Facebook has reduced us to a veritable handful who can see what we post, yet has the audacity to ask for money to allow a few more to see our posts. So far, we haven’t wound up in FB “jail,” as other independent publishers and podcasters have because it’s censors didn’t like something. Some have even been banned from Twitter. Goggle also plays games with us, not to mention the awful lists we wind up on, such as Is It Propaganda Or Not? where we’re accused of echoing “Russian propaganda.”
My objective is to provide you with food for thought, so you can question everything. Oftentimes seeking the answers to those questions are painful but only by asking them can you make informed decisions in order to find the way out of the mess we are in. I think I was born opposed to authoritarianism, whatever form it takes. From the time I was a wee one, I asked, “Who says?” and “Who makes these rules?”
I thank all those who have kept Intrepid Report publishing with donations of their hard-earned dollars. Intrepid Report relies on reader donations to keep it going. So, please, donate whatever you can afford—either a one-time donation or a monthly subscription donation.
