The Republicrat political circus: Distractions, lies, war and austerity

“What better way to enslave a man than to give him a vote and tell him he is free.”—Albert Camus

The Democrats and the Republicans (i.e. the Republicrats) are once again ratcheting up to a fever pitch, in this phony, four year cycle, yet another corporate-stream media feeding frenzy, known as ‘elections’ in the United States. This pathetic state of affairs continues to be the bane of everyday ordinary people in this nation and the ultimate mockery of democracy in the 21st century.

Like little caged, tamed hamsters, the masses of everyday Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow women and men are being herded onto the political plantations/reservations of the Democrat and Republican parties. Once again, distractions and outright lies take center stage even as the reality and horror of perpetual war and economic austerity plagues, consumes and destroys the people of this nation and Mother Earth.

The insanity of repeating the Republicrat ‘election’ farce of no-choice, and expecting (or even hoping for) different results, is yet again being presented to ordinary everyday people as being the sane course of action, when in fact it is the course of stark raving madness on steroids. An entirely different course of action must be vigorously pursued.

The double-talking, warmongering, corporate-owned, NDAA-signing, predator-drone missile, ‘Kill List’ Barack Obama is certainly not the course of sanity, and the Republicans are no better. The corporate controlled U.S. political system is utterly corrupt and devoid of both democracy and concern for we the people, and it is high time that we the people recognize this reality and drastically change coursesystemically.

Until, we the people, collectively and systemically change course, we shall continue to be the hapless participants in the Republicrat political circus of the insane. What will it take for us to comprehend that the Democrats and the Republicans are the unabashed enemies of ordinary, everyday, struggling people?!

It is time for women and men to wake up and understand that we are in deep trouble. Our nation and Mother Earth are in deep trouble. We are killing Mother Earth and ourselves. We are the cannon fodder of the bloated super-rich and the blood-sucking Wall Street corporate elite, including banks, weapons manufacturers, big oil and utility companies, and pharmaceutical and insurance corporations, etc. We do not own or control this political system. Rather, we are owned from cradle to grave, as de facto 21st century slaves, by this corporate political system—and only we can change this!

Think about this circus of political insanity and reject it. This will take work—hard work. Know that both of the symbiotically-joined Democrat and Republican corporate parties will do all in their power to thwart the efforts of everyday people to throw off their chains, bring about systemic change, and have a genuine people’s democracy. But with undaunted perseverance and an actualized vision for the future, we the people shall succeed!

Stop allowing the fear, distractions, subterfuge, and lies of these Democrats and Republicans (and their despicable, lying corporate ‘news’ media) to keep us divided and powerless—in mental and economic bondage! It is time for a new and different political model, created and brought about by the women and men of this nation and world. It’s time to get off the plantation!

Remember: Each one, reach one. Each one, teach one. Onward then, my sisters and brothers. Onward!

  1. As an Associate Editor myself Larry, I keep asking the same questions you are, over and over again. I even wonder if it’s not wanking to be writing this material, and if people really pay attention. Loud explosions are the only things that seem to get attention these days and high body counts, not that I’m advocating anything like that. But the horrific is happening from Denver to Dafur, so what’s new, and is it just us going through these tumultuous changes? I don’t think so. There seems to have been a contraction of pain that went through the world on 9/11 like the one on the day JFK was assassinated. It took decades for the pain to go away then, and it may be true for 9/11 now. There was no final answer then though there has been enough accurate information to know it was a conspiracy of the government, specifically the CIA. I would think the same is true of 9/11. Plenty of information it was the classic “inside job” with a thick enough layer of cover-up though to last for another fifty, sixty years. And till then, we’ll be fighting? Should the fighting stop for some glorious reason, as it did somewhat after WWII, it will be only a short time till there are stand-behind armies, Operation Gladio, and the Bay of Pigs (pigs for sure). It seems the USG is pulling a string of barges all set to blow. And it’s just a matter of time to BOOM!

  2. In Tampa I actually LIKED what Gov. Christie said about “telling the TRUTH.” One of these days we might get the truth about the JFK assassination, how the CIA really operates, Iran Contra, the truth about 9/11 and controlled demolition, about the faked intelligence to invade Iraq, long CIA-al Qaeda ties, that bin Laden was on CIA payroll, the bin Laden/Bush family ties, al Qaeda a creation of our OWN government with thanks to the CIA, the Navy seals shooting was NOT the real bin Laden who has been dead for years. Ahhhhh, yet another massive fabrication, this time under Obama and our government who now has hit lists and can order assassinations. In other words, to HELL with due process and rule of law! The Nazis got better treatment than this at Nuremberg. And trillions of dollars being poured down that black hole of perpetual war and war profiteering, illegal wars and U.S. war crimes in the name of “spreading democracy” (really??) and expanding NDAA indefinite detentions so we all might be taken away and locked up, totally abandoning our Constitution and rule of law and due process, making ALL Americans potential criminal suspects! Whoopee, home of the brave (if we’re not arrested for speaking out) and land of the free (while we’re constantly under NSA Big Brother spying on us??) We criminalize free speech and public protest at the same time we grope and embarrass old and handicapped people, and terrify young children at airports, bus and train stations all in the name of “national security.”

Oh, and have you ever wondered just WHO those 800 some barbed wire detention centers built all over the country during the Bush years are for? Our politicians are strangely silent about that. Even today, long after Bush and Cheney’s Halliburton built them quietly under our noses. So WHO are they for?? Ethnic cleansing in America?? Yet we won’t hear anything about them this presidential election. WHERE is the truth?

I’m sure if Bush had NOT been president, NONE of this would have happened. False flag attacks have a funny way of distorting our reality, don’t they? Sadly, Mr. Obama has done NOTHING about it thus far, in fact makes it worse while torture continues at Guantanamo and black ops sites overseas, and Bradley Manning is treated like an animal at home facing a military tribunal kangaroo lynching. Oh well, then we send more and more young working class Americans in harm’s way in our insane rush toward perpetual war. Is it any wonder why military suicides escalate while most rich kids of privilege and upper class will never have to face these horrors. We send middle class and poor kids to war, to Iraq, Afghanistan…to serve…and die…for the war profiteers, the oil companies, the banksters and other corrupt manipulators in the highest levels of government and corporate control.

It would be refreshing if our presidential candidates had the balls to address these issues. I won’t hold my breath. In other words, the two major parties have f_____ over us yet again!

Yeah, the truth would be nice….
