The NDAA and Obama’s secret ‘Kill List’—are you on it?

“Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and institute new government . . .”—United States Declaration of Independence

“Still, there seems to be a special viciousness that accompanies the current assault on human rights, in this country and in the world.”—Howard Zinn

The corporate owned government of the United States, now headed by President Barack Obama, has under the rubric of waging a so-called war against ‘terrorism,’ launched a perpetual terrorist war against the liberties and human rights of everyday Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow people in this nation and around the world. The U.S. police state is no longer merely coming, it has arrived.

Barack Obama now, in the latter part of the year 2012, has the self-proclaimed right to decide who, on his top secret ‘kill list’ (which list includes U.S. citizens), will be murdered; without the bother of even being charged, much less tried, in a court of law. His ‘Kill List,’ combined with the draconian NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), which, in relevant part, institutes in this nation, the right of the government to indefinitely detain (i.e. disappear and imprison) people (including U.S. citizens) without the constitutionally guaranteed due process of charge, trial, or legal defense are the most obvious, odious, and hideous hallmarks of Barack Obama’s first four years as the chief executive of this nation. Even the unconstitutional ‘Patriot Act’ pales by comparison to both the NDAA which Barack Obama quietly signed into law on December 31, 2011 (New Year’s Eve), and his obscene ‘Kill List.’ Barack Obama (along with his Democrat and Republican party accomplices) has gutted the U.S. Constitution, under the hypocritical and fallacious guise of fighting against the very ‘terrorism’ that his own domestic and foreign policies have cynically enhanced, and continue to enhance.

Are you, or someone you know, on Obama’s secret ‘kill list?’ Will you or a family member or friend be deemed, or perhaps already been deemed, to be a target of the NDAA? Think about it. Obama’s ‘Kill List’ and the NDAA are in actuality political tools for the stifling of legitimate dissent in this nation and throughout Mother Earth. Moreover, their very existence serves to quash liberties and human rights.

Noted historian and activist, the late Howard Zinn, made it quite clear that the ‘ends’ “referred to in the Declaration [of Independence] are the equal right of all to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’” Obama’s ‘Kill List’ and the NDAA that he signed into law have, in essence, made null and void the enjoyment of the “equal right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’” all in the name of combating ‘terrorism.’ Howard Zinn was absolutely correct in saying that “there seems to be a special viciousness that accompanies the current assault on human rights, in this country and in the world.”

Notwithstanding his unconstitutional military attacks on Libya (north Africa) and his intense Predator-drone missile attacks on Somalia (east Africa), and Pakistan, etc., Barack Obama, in the name of bipartisanship and “hope and change,” has, in addition, carried out, and continues to carry out, a well planned economic assault against the people of the United States on behalf of his actual corporate masters. If reinstalled as the U.S. president (and there is a strong probability that he will be reinstalled), in the coming four years, Obama’s target will be, among other things, the destruction of Social Security—once more in the name of bipartisanship, etc. Increased economic austerity will be the name of the game.

The charade between the Democrat and Republican parties, and more precisely, between Obama and Romney simply serves the interests of and for the Wall Street elite and their super rich cohorts whom Obama—the current adroit practitioner of stealth and deceit—has insidiously and effectively served so well. Either way, however, be it Obama or Romney, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” will not be served.

We must understand that Obama’s ‘Kill List’ and the NDAA are but the tip of the gigantic systemic iceberg of subterfuge meant to sink the hopes, needs, and aspirations of the people of this nation and world.

It is imperative that politically conscious people of goodwill recognize this corrupt system of political and economic enslavement for what it is. The “right” and responsibility for changing this system rests with, we the people, as we are the only ones who, out of necessity, have the will and the motivation to collectively create a New Human (i.e., a New Woman and a New Man) in what will prove to be a long and protracted struggle.

The fact is that as long as this unjust and corrupt system remains intact we—ALL of us are, in a sense, on Obama’s ‘Kill List’ and are targets of the NDAA. Until we change the system and, in so doing, regain our humanity, we everyday ordinary people remain entrapped in a system whose time has come to be relegated to the dustbin of history.

Think about it and act accordingly. We must educate ourselves and one another while there is yet time for ourselves, our posterity, and Mother Earth.

Each one, reach one. Each one, teach one. Onward, then, my sisters and brothers! Onward!

Silly editor. The Declaration of Independence lists 5 self evident truths. You only show 1 2 3, and 5. Why do you leave out the 4th? That is the one most destructive to any tyrant or criminal. Most destructive to them. Yet you leave it out as does mainstream media when they mention the Declaration. The consent is a thing not an action. The book, the light, the topic are all things because the is an article in grammar. The NDDA is without the consent of the governed because no one holds the right to murder because we are all created equal. You really need to sit down and re read, slowly this time, the Declaration of Independence and especially the 2nd paragraph first three sentences. It is beautifully written and if you hold understanding you will see the 5 self evident truths were written in such a way that they lean upon one another. Brilliant minds wrote the definition of our republic. Communist dogma is if the proletariat can conceive it, then it has legal power to do it. American republic states you must first hold the right, then you can do it. The NDDA is from communist theory as most things from government these days. You have accepted communism and then argue against it. This is foolish of you.

The New World Order “ZOMBIE” has already replaced the Couch Potato.
We are being manipulated by robots that “look” like us; so we can no longer tell the difference between what is real and what is NOT real.

  10. The term “kill list” appears about eight times within the body of this article, but not once does the author include a verifiable source for such a list. Yes, the author makes a point that it is “secret”. Has he actually seen the list, or is he assuming one exists?

He asks, “…are you on it?”, yet provides no reference whereby the reader can get the answer.

  11. I’m happy to see that you guys are having a good time with your we know more than annyoe else session, congrats! It is apparent that your wisdom led you to vote for the current administration not once, but two times. Also, on this same and other blogs I have read the insinuations that the only reason that annyoe would vote for Barack Obama is because of his skin color. If that is true, then the opposite must also be true that the only reason some may vote for John McCain is relative to his skin color. Also, you are avoiding the obvious. McCain chose his running mate primarily in an attempt to 1) attract the female supporters of Hillary Clinton, 2) to take advantage of the hormones of males (obviously it is working on all of you). Honesty, ask yourself what was more important to McCain winning, or choosing a solid running mate. In addition, as a retired Navy and combat veteran like McCain. Well not quite I was on the ground with the Marines. It is disturbing to me how much he seems to relish the thought of our troops at war. My hat (cover) goes off to him for what he endured as a POW, but it is obvious that he is still attempting to get some payback. Many Americans are unconcerned with the wars we are fighting and justify this by saying to themselves that the current troops are volunteers. However, if you have friends or loved ones in Iraq or Afghanistan and understand that more than 4,000 troops have died. While the lives of untold thousands have been shattered and will never be the same due to missing body parts and unstable minds (the powers that be don’t even want you to know the numbers). But, I know, they volunteered. McCain wants our troops to stay in Iraq for 100 years and he is already at war with Iran. If Sarah Palin is really tough on corruption then she is the right person for McCain. McCain was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, both his father and grandfather were Admirals. Is there any doubt how he got into the Naval Academy. Nevertheless, he graduated at the bottom of his class. Later, as the C O of a training command it was well known that he dated his current wife, while still married to his first. Normally that would be punishable under the UCMJ. Instead, he was awarded a position as a political liaison in order to pave his way into politics, when it became apparent that he could not achieve what his fore fathers had despite his last name. McCain was reprimanded as one of the Keating Five, was instrumental in appropriating land to a real estate developer which his wife and her father profited. He was also a central figure in awarding a current billion dollar military contract to a French (our good buddies) company, rather than an American bidder. He utilizes his wife’s wealth and corporate jet while she refuses to release her tax documents (yeah he’s a reformer). Probably not her fault though, she may have been high on the pain medication she was stealing. Anyway, they’re both just people and neither is perfect, vote for who you want, I’m just venting. Even though I plan to vote for Barack Obama, on a certain level I would like to see McCain win the election. Why? Because the country is in bad shape, its going to take more than 4 years and 1 person to get things going in the right direction. No matter who is elected it is quite possible that they will be seen as one of the most ineffective presidents ever, through no fault of their own. As for me I have 2 kids and I’m keeping them as far away from the military as I can, you would be wise to do the same if McCain is elected. McCain believes we’re wiinning the war, there are no winners, only losers in war. The families and friends of the dead and wounded know that, he should too!

    • If you didn’t write this in jest, I hate to break it to you but McCain and Palin are not the GOP candidates this year. Romney and Ryan are.
