The HAARP accompanying Sandy’s destruction

Those of us who follow the dire events and scenes of Hurricane Sandy every day and hear the expression used to describe it, “The New Normal,” simply can’t accept it as normal in any way, including how thousands lost their homes, everything they own, along with electric power, inheriting the cold fall and winter weather to come, in essence, losing their right to exist.

The scenes look like those from a ravaged third-world country that will take years not days, weeks or months to restore. What’s more, there’s only so long people will endure these hardships before we have insurrections exploding in the streets, not only at gas pumps but at food and clothing and pharmaceutical outlets; and in the streets of beleaguered neighborhoods from Sheepshead Bay to Breezy Point, from the Bronx to Long Island and all points along the East Coast.

Fortunately, the opposite has largely occurred so far. There has been a huge outpouring of personal, corporate and government assistance: money, food, neighborly help with repairs and sharing of supplies, an increase in people caring for people. This is laudable and defies the selfishness that typified the Republican agenda which deservedly and fortunately lost the election.

Yet, there must be something more causing this amount of despair and damage, with Sandy’s initial costs rolling to $50 billion for New York State, plus the bill to millions of other Americans in 11 other states. There has to be something more to the second hurricane in a year since hurricanes Irene, before that to Katrina and Andrew, plus the many other changes in weather we’re witnessing: earthquakes, droughts, tsunamis, all spawned from something dire. The word that floats into mind is HAARP (High Altitude Auroral Research Program).

Also when I think, could it possibly be that the United States government has turned against its own people with a weapon first used in 1967 in Vietnam in a weather modification research program called Project Popeye? The US military used cloud-seeding techniques to prolong the monsoon season and block enemy supply routes along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. I had previously read about this program in Professor Michel Chossudovsky’s December 7, 2007, report, Weather Warfare: Beware the US military’s experiments with climatic warfare. My interest was piqued.

According to Chossudovsky, the HAARP program evolved from Project Popeye, although research on weather modification began in the late 1940s with the US mathematician, John von Neumann, who was doing research with liaisons from the US Department of Defense. This was at the height of the Cold War. That research foresaw ‘forms of climatic warfare as yet unimagined,’ including the one mentioned above. But by 1993, Program Popeye had evolved into the HAARP (High Active Auroral Research Program) based in Gokona Alaska. HAARP is a 40-acre array of high-powered antennas that transmit, through high-frequency radio waves, massive amounts of energy into the ionosphere (the upper layer of the atmosphere).

“The construction was funded by the US Air Force, US Navy and the draconian DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects), operated jointly by the Air Force Research Laboratory and Office of Naval Research. HAARP’s system of powerful antennas is capable of creating ‘controlled local modifications of the ionosphere.” According to its website www.haarp.alaska.edu, “HAARP will be used to induce a small, localized change in ionospheric temperature so physical reactions can be studied by other instruments located either at or close to the HAARP site,” or so they say. Perhaps ‘small, localized change’ is too modest as its descriptor.

“Rosalie Bertell, president of the Institute of Concern for Public Health, says HAARP operates as a ‘gigantic heater that causes major disruptions in the ionosphere, creating not just holes, but long incisions in the protective layer that keeps deadly radiation from bombarding the planet.’” We have physicist Dr. Bernard Eastlund and his deadly patented inventions to thank for this, the largest ionospheric heater ever built. Its purpose: dramatically altering weather patterns and disrupting communications and radar, are not mere experiments as the Air Force would have us think. They are a new form of eco-terrorism, as former Secretary of Defense William Cohen described them in a speech in 1997.

Professor Chossudovsky comments that HAARP is the “preemptive weapon par excellence” and can be directed against enemy countries or even ‘friendly nations’ without their knowledge.” Unfortunately, this aids and abets in destabilizing economies, ecosystems and agriculture and giving the US government, or any government possessing them, the power to take over another country.

It also triggers chaos in financial and commodity markets. Regarding the disruption in agriculture, witness the two 500-year floods in the Mid-West, one in 1978 and only 15 years later in 1993, hardly a conincidence, one or both seeming to be the deadly HAARP at play again. Dr. Chossudovsky explains that “HAARP was subsequently acquired by Raytheon, the biggest US military supplier in the world. BAES Electronic Warfare division was involved in the deal, receiving DARPA’s top award for technical design, construction and activation of HAARP’s array of antennas. Bully for the hell-makers.

“The HAARP system is fully operational,” writes Dr. Chossudovsky, “and in many regards dwarfs existing conventional and strategic weapons systems. While there is no firm evidence of its use for military purposes, Air Force documents suggest HAARP is an integral part of the militarization of space. The high-powered antennas,” are fed by nearby inexpensive natural gas fields. How convenient.

“The construction was funded by the US Air Force, US Navy and the draconian DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects), operated jointly by the Air Force Research Laboratory and Office of Naval Research.

HAARP’s system of powerful antennas is capable of creating “controlled local modifications of the ionosphere.” According to its website, www.haarp.alaska.edu, “HAARP will be used ‘to induce a small, localized change in ionospheric temperature so physical reactions can be studied by other instruments located either at or close to the HAARP site,” or so they say. Perhaps ‘small, localized change’ is too modest as a descriptor.

Cuttingedge.org suggests the presence of huge “rivers of water in our atmosphere.” This idea was first put forth by Reginald E. Newell of M.I.T., writing in the “Geophysical Research Letters Journal” that rivers of water flow in the lower atmosphere. These “rivers” are not actually condensed water, but are vapors that really flow. In other words, man cannot see them, nor realize when he is flying an airplane through them. But, these vapor rivers are enormous. Their flows rival the actual flow on Earth of the mighty Amazon River. These rivers of vapor are 420 to 480 miles wide and up to 4,800 miles long. These rivers of water are 1.9 miles above the earth, and have volumes of 165 million kilograms of water [340 million pounds] per second.

“Scientists further discovered that there are five (5) atmospheric rivers in the Northern Hemisphere and five (5) more in the Southern Hemisphere. Each of these 10 rivers carries the flow rates mentioned above.

“Now that we know there are rivers of water 1.9 miles above the surface, and one or more of them transverse the United States, how does one best create a massive, 500-year flood? The easiest way, of course, would be to throw up a dam that would prevent the vapor river from going on its normal way, thus dumping huge amounts of water behind where it had been ‘dammed’ up!

“The question of the hour is, how can one create a ‘dam’ in the atmosphere? Scientists have discovered that ELF (Extremely Low Frequency radio waves) generation can cause an electronic dam to be created in the atmosphere! These electronic dams can divert or block these vapor rivers, causing huge amounts of rainfall to be dumped!

“These artificial dams were created to cause the 1993 massive floods formed from a combination of the HAARP towers in Alaska and the GWEN (Ground Wave Emergency Network) electronic towers throughout the Midwest . . . The Defense Department built these systems with the cover story that they would be useful for communication during and after a nuclear strike. But, that story will not hold up when you understand that a thermonuclear blast at the right altitude will completely fry all communications equipment . . .”

In addition, Global Rumbling reports, “On June 12, 2010, the Gulf of Mexico Loop Current apparently stopped, probably due to the oil spill. This, in turn, stopped the Gulf Stream. As stated in John Moore’s paper ‘The Gulf Stream Has Stopped,’ published in the fall of 2010, this is the second most important story in 2,000 years. Read it to learn the effects of this stoppage on world climate . . .”

In this light, Hurricane Sandy seems to be a drop in the bucket, running $50 to $60 billion dollars in losses here in New York State—compared to the overall potential of destruction HAARP holds for the United States or other nations. HAARP and its effects are too big a price to pay monetarily and too huge to pay from a standpoint of human suffering. In fact, HAARP’s price is potentially off the charts these days to cope with in our struggling economy.

What is termed “The New Normal” by the press is totally abnormal to every decent instinct we as a species are capable of. In fact, HAARP has proved to be “the new Eco-Terrorism,” following in the wake of 9/11, the WTC destruction, and the War on Terror. So it should be taken very, very seriously.

Not a peep about hurricane Erin off the coast of New York City on September 11, 2001? Just an oversight, right?

  2. I immediately thought of Haarp when I saw the destruction caused by Sandy.
In your article you cite an article from Cuttingedge.org…which is interesting, until you get to the last couple of paragraphs. When they start talking about accepting Jesus as my own personal savior, I have a tendency to run for the hills.

  4. Re Ranall Tilotson, Explorer, Raconteur, Writer,
It might not be relevant at all since the storm center moved away. And to the best of my knowledge had no direct effect on the Towers’ demise.

  5. Re Iris Kriege,
I was a bit put off by the religiosity at that site. But there was so much good factual information about HAARP that was solid and unique, I had no regrets about using it.

    JM.

  6. Re: Carolanne Wright: Yes, I came upon these articles while researching mine. I read through them and found them interresting, but not quite as powerfully written as the pieces I chose to use.

    JM.

    well jerry
i would have to say i don’t think man is capable of manipulating the weather on this scale

neither do i believe we are being sprayed from above – although fluoride and gmo’s are real

and certainly questionable – effects unknown -
over the long term – inadequate research etc…

the one thing you said above hit my ear though
-thermonuclear- [weapons] – our achilles heal
