MI-6 working covertly to scuttle Scottish independence

James Bond portrayer Sean Connery may be a strong supporter of Scottish independence and the fictional Bond may be a native Scot hailing from Skyfall Estate in Scotland, but 007′s employer, MI-6, is, in real life, covertly working to ensure that the 2014 referendum on Scotland’s independence goes down to defeat. WMR has learned that because a majority of MI-6′s top officials and agents are Scottish, Britain’s foreign spy agency would effectively wind up as an intelligence agency without a country if Scotland votes to go its own way.

MI-6 is secretly backing psychological warfare operations aimed at discrediting the leadership of the governing Scottish National Party (SNP) government led by First Minister Alexander Salmond. MI-6 has also called in support from its English-speaking intelligence partners in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to help craft a scenario that points to an independent Scotland being vulnerable to international terrorism.

An independent Scotland is seen as a threat to the post-World War II UK-USA intelligence alliance of the five English-speaking nations. MI-6 and CIA shills in the media and academia have been enlisted to present scenarios that show that a Scotland on its own will not only bring about a terrorist threat to Scotland but also to the remainder of the United Kingdom and the NATO nations. The CIA is concerned that Scotland, which wants Britain’s Trident nuclear submarines removed upon independence, will not be a close intelligence partner of the United States. Langley and Vauxhall Cross (MI-6 headquarters in London) are, therefore, closely working together to scuttle Scotland’s independence. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former American President Bill Clinton, both long-standing CIA assets, have been enlisted to support the anti-independence “Better Together” campaign in Scotland.

Another meme being promoted by MI-6 in the media and on the Internet is that Scotland will find having to establish its own intelligence services will be costly and offset any financial benefits Scotland might otherwise see from independence. MI-6 is assuming that Scotland would find it necessary to have its own Signals Intelligence agency like Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters and separate foreign and domestic intelligence agencies, like Britain’s MI-6 and MI-5, respectively.

In anticipation of a move toward Scottish independence, the MI-5 domestic intelligence agency opened a Scotland Operations Center in Glasgow in January 2005. However, MI-5 is not in Scotland to train a potential Scottish intelligence agency but to spy on those who are working for Scottish independence, including the SNP-led government in Edinburgh. Unlike MI-6, MI-5′s senior echelons are primarily English.

A number of influential Scots served in MI-6 at the beginning of the Cold War and were very active in working with emigré groups from central and eastern Europe. Among these were Katherine Stewart-Murray, the Duchess of Atholl, known as “Kitty Atholl,” and her friend John Stewart. Their dealings with anti-communists in eastern and central Europe also brought them into association with Nazis, British and continental European, who were deep into the occult and close to chief occultist Aleister Crowley. In fact, most Scottish MI-6 agents during the Cold War were strong Scottish Unionists as well as Freemasons. Their descendants in MI-6 are now working against Scottish independence.

Don’t forget that all the UK’s current institutions (e.g. army, navy, etc.) will be divided up upon Independence roughly equal to population proportions and if the remainder UK can’t give up part of MI6 they will have to give us compensation instead. Maybe some of the current MI6 operatives will prefer to come and live in Scotland.
