Washington chokes truth with lies

Are Western propagandists fooling anyone but themselves?

The latest absurdity coming out of Ukraine, the EU and Washington is that the humanitarian aid that Russia and the Red Cross are trucking into the former Russian territories that comprise eastern Ukraine is a trick, a deception, a pretext for Russia’s invasion forces. Such a preposterous lie tells us that Western propagandists have no respect whatsoever for the intelligence of Western peoples.

Even a moron should understand that if Russia wants to send military forces into Ukraine, Russia doesn’t need any pretext, much less a joint humanitarian venture with the Red Cross. The eastern Ukraine, following Crimea’s lead, has already voted both independence from Kiev and in favor of rejoining Russia. If Russia needed an excuse, the decisions by the eastern Ukrainians made months ago suffice. But Russia needs no excuse to rescue Russians from being slaughtered by Washington’s stooges like Palestinians in Gaza.

By its inaction, the Russian government is providing Washington’s vassal states in Europe time to comprehend that Washington, not Russia, is the problem, and that Washington intends for the cost of its conflict with Russia to fall on Europeans.

The opposition from Washington, Washington’s EU vassals, and Washington’s stooges in Kiev to the inflow of humanitarian aid is due to the West’s desperate attempt to keep the world from knowing about the massive destruction by Washington and its stooges of civilian lives, housing, and infrastructure in those former Russian territories that are directly threatened by the Russophobic extremists that Washington has installed in power in Kiev.

The Western presstitute media has added yet another failure to its long inglorious history by failing to report the atrocities inflicted on a people who see no future for themselves in a country ruled by murderous Russophobic criminals installed in power by Washington.

The demented NATO generals, Pentagon chief, and US senators are spreading hysteria about a looming Russian invasion not only of Ukraine but also of the Baltics, Poland, indeed, all of Europe. This hysteria is engulfing the West despite the total lack of evidence of any sign whatsoever of Russian preparations or motives for such invasions. The lie is being spread by Washington that Putin intends to reconstitute the Soviet Empire. This is the same Putin who had the former Russian province of Georgia in his hands and let it go.

Washington’s propaganda is working. Polls reveal that a majority of Americans, who should be awake by now after being lied to about Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Syria, and Iran, have again, in their infinite gullibility, fallen victim to the propaganda and regard Russia as a threat.

Among the misinformed and propagandized American population, the question of the day is: “How are we going to stop the Russians?” Thus has the corrupt and deceitful Obama regime again prepared Americans for war.

The hope for peace is that the Russian counter-sanctions, a response to the sanctions against Russia that Washington forced its European vassals to implement, will end up falling on the deluded American taxpayers. The Polish government has demanded that Washington purchase the apples and agricultural products that Washington has made impossible for Poland to sell to Russia. As Poland is Washington’s choice for the US missile base directed at Russia, the Polish government has leverage. Once Washington gives in to Poland, Washington will be faced with similar demands from hard-hit Greece and Austria and from the rest of Europe to compensate Europeans for the costs that Washington’s sanctions have imposed on its vassal populations.

The fraud perpetuated on the world by the United States in the 21st century is extraordinary. Nothing comparable has ever been witnessed in history. Not only are there the frauds of the numerous wars (Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, almost Iran and Washington’s illegal military actions within the borders of Pakistan and Yemen) but also the vast financial frauds perpetuated on the world. Among the costs of Wall Street’s frauds are the European debt crisis, the infringements of national sovereignty of European countries by the IMF bailouts of sovereign debt, and the impoverishment of “rescued” Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland, along with Eastern Europe.

One day the Europeans will wake up. When they do, they will realize that Washington does nothing for them except to protect them from a non-existent “Russian threat,” while imposing dramatic costs upon them by employing Europeans as pawns in Washington’s war for hegemony over the world. Sooner or later Europeans must realize that this role assigned to them by Washington is not in their interest and leads directly to World War III in which Europeans will be the first casualties.

  1. A disapointing article. A sort of counter propaganda propaganda.

There is a huge amount of propaganda from both sides but the Russians have developed it to a fine art.
There was no persecution of Russian speaking Ukranians (all Ukranians can speak Russian). There was no opression in Crimea or Eastern Ukraine. These were poor regions suffereing from economic mismanagement.
Yanukovitch was a robber as per the Russian regime. Good riddance.

Russian state propganda has been pouring poison into the ears of its own population and Eastern Ukrainians for a long time. Now according to the Russian state controlled media, average Ukranians formally ‘brothers who fought in the great patriotic war’ has suddenly become Russophobic facists who likes nothing better than torturing children in their idle moments.
Russian agitators fomented dissent and disruption in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. Having done their job, the cheif thugs have resigned and gone home for a pat on the back from Putin a bit of a holiday and their next assignment. Meanwhile Russian militias armed with Russian weapons flow into Ukraine, embed themselves in cities and give short shrift to anyone who has a different viewpoint. Ukraine has the choice of suffering another annexation or fight. They chose to do the latter. It is hypocritical for Russia to stoke the war furnace with the left hand and offer humanitarian assistance with the right.
Ask the average Ukranian what they want – ‘we want Russia to leave us alone.’
The terrible thing is – Russia did not need to do this – its vast energy resources allowed it to plug into Europe and those incomes could have been used to build a proper economy. A strong economy would have built Russia’ influence. Instead now it is surrounded by suspicious and alarmed neighbours. There must have been another way to secure the Black Sea Fleet base and keep Nato out of Ukraine.

I lived in Russia for a few years, I have Russian friends. I am sorry for them. They are now told where they have to go on holiday, they are bombarded with mind numbing, malicious state drivel. I watch RT, it has become a fiction program rather than a news channel. Russia is going backwards – it is becoming a police state and looks more and more like North Korea than a great nation on the edge of Europe. Such a shame. If the Russian people ever wake to this -

Cardivio, I don’t know how you can say all that and also know that Russia is being sanctioned for an aircraft downing that, for all the proof we have, they had nothing to do with. The sanctions are America’s idea and they aren’t even hurting Russia … they’re hurting Europeans. Utter ridiculousness. By the way, what news outlet are you plugged into that is better than RT?

All this Western propaganda is part of a carefully calculated plan of misdirection and obfuscation to confuse and distract the masses and to provide justification for the continued presence of US troops in Europe 70+ years after world warⅡ ended. It serves the interests of the pro-NATO, pro-cold war crowd for whom the break-up of the Soviet Union was not an end in itself but just a stepping stone towards global hegemony.

The USA has no intention of stopping its eastward expansion in Europe, nor its buildup of military forces in Asia and the Pacific because the whole of its economy is now essentially a war economy based on military Keynesianism. It has to maintain its core military-industrial base simply to prevent the rest of the economy from collapsing. This means more bases, more military expenditure and increased militarism at home (eg. militarisation of the police) and abroad (eg. trying to incorporate Ukraine into NATO). Europe being independent of US-controlled sources of energy, as well as economic integration between eastern and western Europe and between China and Europe, pose a direct challenge to continued US influence in Europe and, as a result, it pursues a policy of obstructivism and the fomenting of inter-European dissension and rivalry. What we are witnessing in Ukraine is America’s driving of a wedge between East and West.

  4. THEY SPUR ANOTHER SYRIA IN UKRAINE

“Anyone who interferes with the destiny of another thing never will discover his own.” Paulo Coelho

The fact that we have exposed the lies and exaggerations of the global elite – from Iraq’s illusionary weapons of mass destruction to hysterical warnings of Syria’s chemical weapons – does not count for much. The Obama administration — now an imperial presidency in serious violation of the Constitution and the will of the American people — and its partners, primarily the EU (European Union) countries, continue to push for all-out wars despite the transparent quality and facile nature of disinformation put out every few days.

A fresh new report says that the US Congress has SECRETLY voted to fund the delivery of arms to Syrian rebel factions till the end of September 2014. But then comes the utmost hypocrisy!

At the Syria Geneva II Peace Conference in Switzerland, (where, of course the US takes a centre stand) the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon said: “Syrians must come together to save their country, protect their children and find a peaceful path to a better future.” Mr. Ban spoke of the suffering in Syria, saying: “Enough is enough. The time has come to negotiate.”

And now, here we go again! This time it’s Ukraine. And it’s a ‘déjà vu’ situation.

What makes Ukraine different is that US policy could *theoretically* change. For years the NATO establishment has been debating its stance towards Russia. The case for NATO enlargement largely depends on Western perceptions of Russia to begin with. These protests could be the perfect opportunity for a more assertive US in the region; as if it already hasn’t been. I strongly suspect that enlargement will be on the “to do” list!

The US/EU bloc is in the process of chipping away at Russia’s regional influence and, no doubt, as an added plus, doesn’t mind gaining control over the major natural gas lines passing from Russia, through the Ukraine to Europe. Besides, Ukraine could become a new borderline base for the US’s ‘missile shield’. Nothing more than a big, fat provocation to Russia!

The Euromaidan (Ukrainian: literally “Eurosquare”) is a wave of ongoing demonstrations and civil unrest in Ukraine, which began on the night of 21 November 2013 with very large public protests demanding closer European integration.

How many times do we have to hear about “peaceful protestors seeking democratic freedoms” facing a “crackdown by their repressive government” and desperately in need of “humanitarian intervention”?

This time the protesters, definitely in the minority of not more than, perhaps, 18%, are calling for closer relations with the European Union – even though that entity is fast becoming an extension of NATO (Uncle Sam’s version of the UN), whose purpose is to bring the planet under US domination.

What we are hearing from the US and from the EU is of course the most cynical hypocrisy. After the last few years of brutal police repressions of the Occupy Wall Street movement in the US and the anti-neo-liberal austerity dictates that have been instituted around the EU, which brought literally tens of millions of protesters out onto the streets, they are calling against the violence in Ukraine, where the majority of the injuries for the past few days have been from the police.

And what is happening in the Ukraine is not a peaceful protest…they are rioting and demanding regime change. The present administration was democratically elected and furthermore there is another election coming sometime next year. So the process is in place for them to peacefully make a change if they choose that path. However, a mob of less than 20% of the people doesn’t have the right to put down what the majority voted for, just because they name it ‘democracy’. The EU deal sucked and was rejected by the Ukrainian government. So why not let democracy rule and not rioting thugs and extremists?

However fraught its relations with its larger neighbour may be, I suspect that Ukraine does not want to be a US/EU puppet either!

Why is the EU confronting Russia on Ukraine? I am bound to think that the EU is showing up neither authority nor confidence by taking this kind of approach. The idea that continental Europe, with its hairnet armies, could have the political will to “confront” Russia is just idiotic. The very most they can summon up is some fairly toothless economic sanctions that will achieve very little

Isn’t it time for the EU to stop following US hypocritical policy like a demented poodle and try to build bridges with Russia instead of antagonizing its people? Scrapping NATO might be a good way of starting the process. It’s not Russian hegemony that we need to worry about but the American version which appears to be trying to take over the whole world!

The EU Council chief, Herman Van Rompuy, has blamed Ukrainian authorities for “destabilisng” Ukraine, as protests fan out to the east and west of Kiev. What cheek! The Polish Prime minister, Tusk, has also been calling for €3 million of EU money to be channelled to opposition groups. No wonder all this has been irking and angering a democratically-elected Ukrainian President, Yanukovych and his main sponsor, Russian President Vladimir Putin. In this way, the EU will have exploited a sovereign country once again,

Quite appropriately, Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, told the press in Moscow: “We would prefer that some of our European colleagues refrained from acting unceremoniously over the Ukrainian crisis, when, without any kind of invitation, members of certain European governments rush to the Maidan and take part in anti-government demonstrations in a country with which they have diplomatic relations.” “It is just indecent,” he added. But what does the European Union know about decency? Let’s hope the “Commissioner for enlargement” is not going – once again – to launch irresponsible promises of eventual Ukrainian “vocation to accession” into the EU!

Try to occupy the central square and the city hall in any West European country and you won’t last a day. Unfortunately, people like Barroso and Van Rompuy have been encouraging similar behaviour in Ukraine. They are the people destabilizing Ukraine. And while some of the proposed laws in Ukraine seem excessive, many are very similar to laws that are already implemented in EU countries! Couldn’t you just wait 12 months for the next Ukrainian election or are you 100% certain that these terrorists/thugs are in the minority? But no! This “bright new star” in the opposition wants power given to him out of the blue and without elections – in other words, he is fomenting a coup. Why can’t we call a spade a spade?

I must say I was disappointed that the Ukrainian Government said that they would not use the army to clear these thugs off the streets as, I know, that if these disturbances happened in the UK or USA that would certainly have happened by now. Hopefully they will change their minds

I think Euromaidan truly succeeded with one thing: It successfully put an end to Ukrainian independency. After several Western leaders openly supported an attempt to overthrow the legitimate government in Ukraine and showed a neo-colonial style of attitude to the Ukrainian political environment, the very phrase “independent Ukraine” sounds rather strange. Which independent state would allow foreign leaders to go to the streets and interact with people who just violated the law and occupied several government buildings? What kind of diplomatic behaviour is that when foreign politicians openly pressure the Ukrainian government to “make a free choice” and sign an agreement, and if not, then threaten it with sanctions and revolution? What is it if not neo-colonialism?

The legitimate protesters in Ukraine (not the paid infiltrators),
being tricked by the globalist propaganda into joining the EU and the banking cartel that’s sucking the life out of the working class in Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Portugal and all Europe should take heed of where they are heading and what awaits them.

If these protests are about Ukraine not joining the EU and getting closer to Moscow, protestors should keep in mind that the country needs good trading relations with Russia, not with the banking mafia that controls the EU and the US, which only wants to turn Ukraine into another colony of exploitation, acquisition, expansion and corruption. The EU and the IMF (International Monetary Fund) have designs on controlling nations and their economies too. Hopefully, Ukrainians would not fall for the malicious machinations, already employed in Yugoslavia, Libya, Egypt, Syria and other countries, of splitting and breaking Ukraine in half.

Europe and America, forget the land of Ukraine!
Your script Yugoslavia, Syria and Libya will not work.
